Fresh Black Grouper Fillets – 6, 8, or 10 oz Portions
Our Black Grouper is cut from larger fish than our Red Grouper, giving you thicker, heartier fillets with more to savor.
Also known as marbled rockfish, black grouper is a true culinary gem. Its fillets are moist and firm with a large, beautiful flake. Thanks to its natural oil content, it has a buttery, melt‑in‑your‑mouth texture while still maintaining a mild, versatile flavor—the perfect canvas for your favorite recipes.
Whether baked, broiled, pan‑fried, or grilled, black grouper delivers outstanding results and is a standout addition to any table. For a simple but elevated recipe, click here and try this pistachio-crusted grouper!

Storing your Fresh Catch product:
Fresh seafood should be transferred to a refrigerated environment upon receiving and consumed or frozen within 2-3 days. Any seafood received frozen should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.
Best Practices For Thawing Seafood:
The best way to thaw frozen seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it under cool running water for around thirty minutes to an hour.
